The march led out from Musgrave Park and into the suburbs of Brisbane. I sensed that there were mixed feelings in the crowd. Some people treated it almost like a carnival, some treated it like a party but there were those for whom this march meant something much deeper and with each footstep they felt beneath their feet the emotions grew.
