As the death toll in Gaza rises by the hour, children, are being murdered by Israeli bunker busting bombs. The UN, yet again fails to pass a resolution to halt this attack on Arab civilians.Those of us who feel as sickened by this massacre as we were by operation shock and awe in Iraq should take action. I call on all who have a conscience to send a message to Israel by boycotting Jaffa oranges and Israeli avacados. This seems such a small thing but it can work. Remember boycotting South African fruit in the eighties? I do. The government felt the ire of world citizens, even as the international community sat on its bloodstained hands.I was shocked when I visited Lebanon in 2007 by the success of American brands like McDonald's, Burger King. Kentucky Fried chicken and of course the Almighty coca cola. This, even as the rubble of homes leveled by US made missiles were being cleared. If we accept the truth that the US is subsidising these terror attacks on Muslims then we must also know that taking action that will damage the American and Israeli economies especially now, will have more of an impact than ten thousand protest marches. Send a message to Livni and Obama that we care about Palestinians and demand their human rights be respected as laid out under international law.Please pass this article on to everyone you know. Lets stop this madness using buyer power not firepower.
