The Speeches 08 Archbishop John Sentamu

The Speeches 08 Archbishop John Sentamu

Marchers call for right to work. Archbishop Sentamu is introduced to crowd. Sentamu says people here are lucky because they have the freedom and the right to speak whilst millions are suffering under Mugabe. About 11,000 Zimbaweans in this country. Sentamu applauds Gordon Brown's condemnation of Mugabe regime. Quotes UN Declaration of Human Rights - No one should be subject to arbitrary arrest. Everyone has a right to work so why aren't Zimbaweans in UK allowed to? Give Zimbabweans their dignity by allowing them to work and contribute instead of remaining in limbo. UK government should make the decision because it is the right one. Sentamu recieves hundreds of letters from Zimbaweans who want to be able to work and study.
