Islington Friends of Yibna [IFY ] are proud to have reported on Mohammed's award at BAFTA presented by John Pilger .

IFY are a group of concerned individuals who live and work in Islington, North London, and have made a connection
with the Yibna refugee camp in the Gaza town of Rafa

After receiving the award and travelling around Europe as the guest of governments and politicians it appears that
the recipient of the Martha Gelhorn award was made a lot less than welcome at the Allenby crossing into Gaza. This
matter is now an issue of international concern and protest. Details regarding Mphammed Omer's attempt to return
to his country which ended up with him unconscious in a Palestinian hospital:
