Ricky Tomlinson is a well known actor but his appearance here is not about celebrity
but humanity. Ricky was one of the Shrewsbury Pickets jailed for two years after the
1972 builders workers strike. 

In a public meeting at the Welsh Centre in London, Tomlinson tells his side of the
story and passionately describes what happened to Des Warren who also received a
two year sentence.

The Shrewsbury Pickets Campaign wants to see a public enquiry into the events that
led to the jailing of Tomlinson and Warren.
