<p>Adrian Cooper uses anecdotal evidence to suggest that we don't always know what the solutions to problems are because we fail to see fundamentals. This is a classic example of lateral thinking and problem solving explained as a simple model. Adrian makes a very clear point by asking ‘do people really know what they are doing – and why?’ – he has a punchy example about making precision drill bits - there is a clear lesson here – the housing industry has lost the plot!</p>
